Project 1: PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION OF HERITAGE BUILDING
In this project, students are required to study and produce a Preliminary Investigation report for a Heritage Building. The report comprises of information on the owner, historical and social background, and objective for conservation, financial Implication and implementation agency. The report is to be accompanied with a set of measured drawings. This project will expose students to first stage of building conservation framework.
Architecture Investigation – is the critical first step in planning an appropriate treatment for buidling conservation. It involves historical research and documentation
Learning Outcomes:
1. Identify the history and theories of architectural conservation practices
2. Recall framework of Heritage Building Conservation

Project 2: Dilapitation Survey Report
In this project, student will require to propose for the defect problems for building conservation. It will require students to investigate and observe practices and approaches on architecture conservation in Malaysia. Students are to organize trips to several sites in order to explore, comprehend and form opinion which subsequently captured in a proposal statement and illustrated diagrams.
Learning Outcomes:
1. To gain exposure to a wide and diverse range of practice and debate in the field
2. Identify the defects of the building consercation
